Mixed Media “Art Cake”

I know I say it all the time but … I LOVED designing and creating this cake, and I think it’s my new favourite!

This was my first try at a cake in a standing frame and it worked a treat! This cake had an airbrushed first layer, then a buttercream palette knife petal layer, and on top of that some modelling chocolate petals. To give the flowers pop I added some sprinkles and gold leaf. Finally I added some cake lace leaves.
