Fiona Poole 10 Years!
This week marks 10 years since starting my blog!
It’s hard to believe I’ve been posting about cake (and occasionally some other food groups) for this long. I initially started as neighbours and friends were asking for the recipes I was using. This has developed into a blog mainly about my cake creations and experiences, including mistakes!
The ten years have seen some major changes for myself and my family. During this time we have moved house 5 times, lived in 2 different states of Australia, and lived in Texas USA. My kids have grown up to be relatively self-sufficient, the eldest at university and the youngest completing his final year of high school.
The blog has developed over the years to include associated Facebook and Instagram pages where most of my interaction with the cake community now happens. If you are yet to have a look at these platforms, please do as I post many small snippets over there including details on this cake!
A huge thank you to all of you who read my blog, many of you have been with me since day one. You come from all over the world and I look forward to the report WordPress send me each year that shows me where you are all from. I’d love for you to comment below where you are all from so we can all see.
