Christmas is coming!
I think the best holiday we have had was when we spent our first Christmas in the US at Avalanche Ranch Cabins. We had the experience of driving through a snowstorm before reaching our final destination late in the evening. The most magical place with no internet or TV, just books and board games. Natural hot springs at our cabin door and loads of activities such as snowshoeing and skiing.
Now we’re back in Australia, there is definitely no snow at Christmas time. Therefore, I decided to make my gingerbread house this year a log cabin in the snow. Inspired by Haniela’s log cabin, I had a great time creating it.
I have another gingerbread creation on the way, inspired by an Aussie Christmas carol. Hopefully, I will get time to post it soon!
