Smiling Cactus

What a cutie!

My niece sent me a picture of a cake that she wanted for her 16th birthday. I replicated it as best I could with a few of my own touches. If anyone knows the original artist I’d love to know so I can give them credit for the design.

This cake was all chocolate! Chocolate mud, filled and covered in chocolate ganache. The cactus portion was decorated with Italian meringue buttercream and the pot was covered in fondant.

I imprinted “sixteen” on the pot using my Sweet Stamps and then painted the fondant with Edible Art Paint in Metallic Dark Rose.
