21st Chocolate Fun
Another chocolate beauty loosely based on my Chocolate Overload Cake.
This one was for a 21st birthday surprise. I decided to make it a little more feminine for the birthday girl by adding my homemade chocolate lace. I was so happy with the result of this lace as it was a bit of an experiment!
A 6″ gluten free chocolate cake standing 8″ high, filled and covered in chocolate ganache and finished in swiss meringue buttercream stripes. Topped with macarons, handmade chocolate fans, and chocolates from The Source it stood at about 16″ tall!
A few bits of gold leaf to finish it off and it was ready to be delivered to the venue, The Duxton.
