Easter Cream Tarts

Cream tarts, stacked biscuits (cookies), tart cake…..whatever you want to call them, these beauties are still taking the baking world by storm!

I posted my first attempt at a cream tart back in January, you can find that post here. As I still had some pate sablee in my freezer, I decided to make some Easter themed tarts.

One Easter Egg shape, and one and Easter bunny shape. Both are filled and topped with choc orange cannoli cream this time, delicious! The cannoli cream doesn’t give the smooth, glossy finish like the diplomat cream used on my last tarts but I think it still looks pretty and a little rustic.

Decorated with Easter treats, macarons, and mini chrysanthemums.
