Unicorn cupcakes

I was recently invited to contribute to a fabulous fundraiser for the RSPCA Cupcake Day, which was held on Saturday.

I was so excited to be a part of this wonderful event that was organised by event planning and management company, Damsel & Sprout. Each baker/caker donated 4 dozen cupcakes which were placed in a gorgeous display. Customers of the Tuggeranong Hyperdome shopping centre then purchased the cupcakes and all of the money was donated to the RSPCA.

All of the cupcakes were sold prior to the end time! What a huge success.

I made some unicorn cupcakes, cause unicorns are animals too, right?!

Bright vanilla buttercream swirls topped vanilla bean cupcakes. Fondant ears and a unicorn horn (or alicorn if you want to get particular) popped on top with a sprinkle of disco dust and they were done.
