4th of July Cake Pops!

We have been lucky enough to be invited to a 4th of July party out at a friend’s lake house this year! Woo hoo!!!

I decided it would be easier to transport (2 hour drive) and serve cake pops instead of a large cake.  I spotted this design on Pinterest from Party City and gave it a go!

The pops are made with a standard chocolate brownie recipe and 10 mega stuffed Oreo cookies blitzed together in the food processor, thats it!

A quick dip in blue and red candy melts, white sprinkles to represent stars, white cookie icing to represent the stripes, and I think we have a pretty cool and tasty flag.
