Tiny Gingerbread Houses

Earlier this week when I thought most of my Christmas baking was coming to an end, my friend Brett sent me an email.   In his email were the instructions on how to make a Tiny Gingerbread House that will perch on the side of your mug!  Too cute not to make, before I knew it cookie dough was in the Kitchenaid and ready to go!!!

You can find all the instructions at not martha. As Angus doesn’t really enjoy gingerbread, I made them out of Cadbury’s Chocolate Gingerbread.  The best thing about this recipe is that you don’t have to refrigerate it for an hour before cutting out shapes.

I gave my kids and the kids from next door one each to decorate, they were very pleased with their efforts 🙂

(Gorgeous kids all keeping their eyes wide open for the camera!!!)

Some of the others I decorated…
